Monday-Friday 6:30a-5:00p with variable hours and potential for shift flexibility. Rotating call. Occasional weekends are possible. Rotating holiday call.

Job duties and responsibilities to include:  Transthoracic echocardiograms, Transesophageal echocardiograms, Contrast and agitated saline studies, Clinical trials and research, Low dose Dobutamine stress testing for aortic stenosis, Cardiac surgery OR procedures.       

                                                                                   
Cardiac structural procedures to include:

* Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)

* Transcatheter mitral valve repair (MitraClip)

* Left atrial appendage closure (Watchman)

* PFO and ASD closure

* Impella left ventricular support device

* Left ventricular remodeling (clinical trial)

What We Require:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

Experience:  2 years Echo experience preferred. 

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARDMS in Pediatric, Fetal and Adult Echo Ultrasound.  BLS required.  

Other: Good interpersonal and technical skills and flexibility in assignments.  About Carilion
