Position Title: 

Electrical Technician

 

Pay Rate:

$41.28/hr. to $45.54/hr., plus shift differential ($.25 cent for 2nd shift)

The rate of pay for this role may vary according to the candidate skillset and experience.

 

Sign-on Bonus:       

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

$500 after 1 year,

 

Retention Bonus:   

Additional lump sum after 2 years

Hourly Full-Time (3pm-11pm – Monday-Friday)

The Job You Will Perform:

* Effectively troubleshoot and repair facility and production mechanical equipment on a daily basis

* Effectively troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical control systems and PLCs

* Install new electrical service

* Install new or rebuilt machine parts

* Rebuild failed components

* Support installation of new systems and equipment

* Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM Manuals, and other manufacturer specifications

* Maintain accurate parts inventory

* Ensure maintenance common areas are maintained at a neat, clean & safe level

Candidates selected for further consideration will be required to complete a computerized test on job related skills, a panel interview, background screen, drug screen, and pre-employment assessment.

The Skills You Will Bring:

* Strong electrical and mechanical experience with an emphasis on electrical skills

* Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on PLCs and computer software

* Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM Manuals, and other manufacturer specifications

* Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

* Proficiency with machine controls and/or 3 phase power systems a plus

* Must have own tools – industry specific tools supplied
