Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Kitchens department is looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician.

 

Job Description:

As an Industrial Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of modern automated process systems in our vastly changing Kitchen’s facility.

 

Regular tasks include:

 

* Perform preventative maintenance procedures

* Communicate with operators and management team

* Ensure day to day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved

* Perform emergency maintenance as required

* Coordinate with vendors for necessary repairs

* Inspect facilities and equipment on a regular basis

* Support Sanitation Co-workers with CIP process and Machine Malfunctions 

 

Multiple Shifts Available:  This will be discussed in the interview; it will be a 2nd shift position

                                      

 

Pay Differential:  Hours worked between 8PM-6AM ($2.00/Hr. pay differential)

Pay Range: (25.67 - 38.50) - this is determined based off experience 

 

Qualifications:

* 2 years automation experience and/or training

* Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices

* Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background

* Ability to work well alone and as part of a team

* Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills

* Accurate/detail oriented

* Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks

* Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects

* Ability to support and meet department deadlines

* Possess good problem-solving skills

* Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals

* Good working knowledge of hand and power tools

* Welding experience is a plus

* All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards

* Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the food industry is a plus

* Looking for Electro-Mechanical techs, Mechatronic techs, Industrial Maintenance techs, Industrial Controls techs, etc.

 

Physical qualifications: stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds frequently; lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.

 

 

Work Schedule: 

Sunday - Wednesday 11AM - 9PM
