BWXT’s Nuclear Operations Group - Lynchburg is currently seeking Technical/IT Interns (Summer 2024) for its Lynchburg, VA location!

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

* Develops and delivers technical solutions used in a nuclear environment.

* Creates and updates drawings and procedures.

* Participates in design, testing, analysis, project management, and procurement of materials.

* OSH candidates will collect data, analyze, and design improvements to work environments and procedures.

* IT candidates will provide hardware, software, and other needed IT support.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

* Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program pursuing a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Occupational Safety & Health, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline.

* Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
