Come join the Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. This position will be utilized to help cover department needs during normal business hours, weekends, and holidays.

Job duties and responsibilities to include: 

*

Carotid ultrasounds
*

Venous ultrasounds
*

Arterial ultrasounds
*

Renal ultrasounds * Take part in the training of students and staff as assigned. 

*

Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.

  What We Require:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

Experience: Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required. 

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography.  ARDMS or CCI. CPR certification required.

Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.  About Carilion
