Job Description

Position Title: Entry Level Utility Production

Pay Rate: $19.83  

Category/Shift: Hourly Shifts – 2 available

 

* 3pm-11pm (2nd shift)

* 11pm – 7am (3rd shift)

 

** Some weekends are mandatory

** Some shifts required mandatory overtime

The Job You Will Perform:  

 

*  Following all safety rules and practices;

*  reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer        

*  identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders;

*  performing assigned duties to insure that production needs are met;

*  assisting other associates as needed;

*  monitor and operate waste water system

*  clean out filter press for waste water system

*  monitor the starch kitchen and operations

*  monitor inventory and waste water chemicals 

*  accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment;

*  inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer   specifications;

*  identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject) products and materials;

*  keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations;

*  maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;

*  maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates; and

*  Performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

 

NOTE:  Utility labor is the full-time entry level position for new manufacturing associates.

* The ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler

* The ability to use basic shop math
