Position Title: 

Die Room Tech

 

 

Pay Rate:

$22.87

 

 

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time / Flexible shift (can be 1st, 2nd or 3rd)

 

 

Physical Location:

Columbus Box Plant

4847 Cargo Drive

Columbus, Georgia 31907

 

 

The Job You Will Perform:

* Must become capable of safely working and handling tooling dies and plates.

* Must order tooling when needed.

* Tooling Management:  Receive and check incoming tooling plates and dies. 

* Tooling Rotation Program: Repair tooling: dies, plates when possible or send out for repairs.

* Must order supplies for die room.

*  Ensure die rotation for repairs is done. 

* Inventory Management: Order ink, control partial ink inventory, conduct monthly ink inventory, and properly dispose of empty ink buckets.

*  Inspect and file print plates, file print cards and construction cards.

* Occasionally run the pre-feeder on machines of various machine centers.

* Participating in crew meetings, reducing waste, actively participating in team problem solving processes, and maintaining quality standards.

* Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.
