Kwik Trip, Inc. has an opening for a full-time IT Retail Services Field Service Technician. This co-worker’s primary duties include:

* Onsite installation and support for all our Stores IT and POS equipment

* Phone support of computerized register systems and back-office computers in our 800+ convenience store locations based in WI, MN, IL, and IA.

 

Qualifications: Experience with computer operating systems, basic knowledge of computer and network components, as well as MS office applications; ability to travel as needed to all Kwik Trip/Kwik Star locations averaging two overnights per week; valid driver's license with excellent driving record; possess strong communication skills; team player; ability to handle a variety of projects; possess computer trouble shooting skills; ability to lift up to fifty pounds, twist, bend, and reach frequently. Candidate must be a fast learner with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Candidates with a 2-year technical degree in a computer-related field or courses completed toward a technical degree with 1-2 years of work experience in an IT related position are preferred with working knowledge of retail store operations a plus.

 

Work Schedule: Hours will vary according to installation and travel schedules, with 2 overnights per week on average. A normal workweek is 40 hours but can have overtime when required.
