Kwik Trip Inc. Information Security Department is seeking an individual to join our team as an Information Security Manager. This individual will lead and oversee our information security engineering initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and guiding our information security engineering group, ensuring the effective implementation of security controls and tooling to fortify our digital environment. As the Information Security Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our security strategy, staying abreast of emerging threats and technologies to safeguard our organization's information assets. Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
* Streamline and optimize the use of security tools, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced response times to potential threats.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring a resilient information security environment.
* Collaborate with various teams to facilitate the secure onboarding and offboarding of new business software, processes, and procedures
* Ensure the organization's information security practices align with relevant compliance requirements and industry standards.
* Assist in incident response activities, investigating and mitigating security incidents as needed.
* Promote security awareness and best practices among employees.
Requirements:
* Associate degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience.
* Driven to develop skills in information security, IAM, and PAM.
* Basic understanding of security principles and practices.
* Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (hybrid), daytime hours with a rotation cycle for on call. Work on weekends, holidays, and non-business hours may be required
